Appointments Continue efforts to build an equitable and inclusive cannabis industry and corporate culture

SAN JOSE, Calif., Nov. 30, 2021 / PRNewswire / – TPCO Holding Corp. (“The Parent Company” or the “Company”), a leading California vertical integrated cannabis company, today announced the appointment of Tiffany McBride as Managing Director of Social Equity Ventures and Kerry Arnold as Chief People Officer. The two positions support The Parent Company’s mission to advance efforts for diversity, equity and inclusion within the cannabis sector.

McBride joins from Docstur, LLC where she previously served as chief operations officer. She brings over 15 years of results-driven strategy development experience to The Parent Company, where she will oversee the Social Equity Ventures program and activities focused on discovering the future colored cannabis entrepreneurs in the industry. McBride will ensure the program has the capital and mentorship to build intergenerational wealth and become part of a more equitable and diverse cannabis industry.

This is an exciting time to join The Parent Company as Managing Director of Social Equity Ventures to continue to ensure minority communities have a seat at the table in the cannabis industry.

Tiffany McBride, managing director of Social Equity Ventures

The Social Equity Ventures Fund and the recent opening of LA’s first pharmacy owned by Black Woman, Josephine & Billie’s are just some of the ways we are already making progress towards a more equitable future in the cannabis space. While we have made progress, there is still a lot to be done and I look forward to breaking down barriers and creating opportunities for different individuals and communities to thrive in this industry.

Arnold will lead the human resources department to expand employee resources, ensure a fair corporate culture and uphold the values of the parent company. He will oversee all aspects of human resources, including fair inclusion in the workplace, the operation of employees and the workplace, learning and development, and talent acquisition. Previously, Arnold held the position of Chief People Officer at CANNDESCENT, a luxury cannabis brand.

I am very excited to join The Parent Company as the new Chief People Officer at this exciting time for the company and the industry as a whole.

Kerry Arnold, Chief People Officer

After seeing how the company has operated and nurtured its commitment to its values and commitment to innovation, I am excited to be part of a truly forward-thinking leadership team led by Troy. I hope to not only grow our business, but also a culture that aligns with the values of our organization as we become the most influential cannabis company in the world.

Both Arnold and McBride join The Parent Company’s most recent and historic appointment, Troy Datcher – the first black CEO to lead a major U.S. public cannabis organization.

As our influence as an organization grows, the appointment of Tiffany and Kerry is essential to our mission.

Troy Dacher, CEO

Tiffany’s work as Managing Director will only complement and accelerate our equity efforts, while Kerry’s expertise and ability to develop an inclusive culture will be paramount. I’m really looking forward to working with them.
